THIS WASHINGTON BLUE 1936 FORD ROADSTER WAS OWNED FROM 1960 TO 2015 BY A MAN IN LOUISIANA THAT RESTORED IT AND DROVE IT TO MANY SHOWS. IN 2015 HE GAVE IT TO HIS SON WHO SOLD IT TO MY FRIEND IN 2017. IT IS #1753 OF 3862 DELUXE ROADSTER MADE. IT WAS RESTORED OVER 20 YEARS AGO. I HAVE A COPY OF THE 1960 TITLE, OWNERS MANUALS, ETC. IT IS POWERED BY 21 bolt FLATHEAD V-8 with a later model block that had the lower water pump openings blocked off so the original heads could be used to make it look like an earlier motor with a more powerful engine block. WITH A 3 SPEED FORD TRANSMISSION AND MECHANICAL BRAKES. 6 VOLT ALTERNATOR AND CONVERSION. THIS IS A LATE MODEL BODY WITH THE X ON THE SIDE OF THE COWL. IT HAS A STROMBERG 97 CARB AND A NEW FUEL PUMP AND FLOOR MAT AND BATTERY. OPTIONS ARE RADIO AND SPEAKER, SPIDER HUBCAPS, WIDE WHITEWALL TIRES, SIDE CURTAINS, SIDE MIRRORS, RUMBLE SEAT. THERE ARE FORD TOOLS UNDER THE SEAT. THE CAR RUNS AND DRIVES AND STOPS WELL AND HAD LOTS OF POWER. THE PAINT SHINES, BUT HAS SOME AGE DEFECTS, DINGS AND CHIPS AS SHOWN. THE LEFT FLOOR SECTION WAS REPLACED AND THE REAR TAIL PANEL UNDER THE BUMPER HAS HAD SOME WORK DONE. THE TOP WAS REPLACED WHEN THE CAR WAS RESTORED IT IS OK. I DONT THINK I HAVE IT FOLDED PROPERLY. THERE IS NO BOOT. THE INTERIOR WAS ALSO REPLACED WHEN THE CAR WAS RESTORED. IT IS OK. CHROME IS GOOD. GRILL IS GOOD. WINDSHIELD HAS A SMALL CRACK. THE MILEAGE SHOWN IS 24989. THERE IS A NOTE IN A MAINTENANCE BOOK THAT SHOWS 23000 IN 2013 AND A NEW CLUTCH. I HAVE A GOOD CLEAN TITLE THAT MATCHES THE FRAME NUMBER.
